The 2024 Imagine Cruising World Indoor Bowls Championship is being staged  at the Potters Resorts Hopton-on-Sea in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk for it’s 25th year from the 5 – 21 January, 2024.

Bowlers from around the world can become members of the PBA and qualify to obtain their spot for an opportunity to showcase their skills in this knockout World Indoor Championship.

World Bowls is delighted to have reigning World Bowls Indoor Champions in the field. Aron Sherriff (Australia)  and Julie Forrest (Scotland) are playing at Potters after winning the 2023 World Indoor Championship held at Warilla, NSW, Australia.

Julie Forrest defeated Lauren Gowen (Wales) to move into the women’s semi final where she will play Ceri Ann Glen (Wales) on Wednesday 17th January at 7.30pm (UK).  Forrest  is well known to the world stage having won multiple indoor championship events. Forrest defeated New Zealand’s Kathelyn Inch in the final at Warilla at the World Bowls Indoor Championships last year.

In a promoter’s dream match, Scotland’s Paul Foster MBE will go up against Australia’s Aron Sherriff today (Monday 15th January) at 10.00am (UK).  Sherriff, known as one of the best bowlers in the world and is Australia’s most decorated and recognised bowler, won the 2023 World Bowls Indoor Championship defeating New Zealand’s Andrew Kelly.

The women’s single final will be held on Thursday 18 January and the open singles final will be held on Sunday, 21 January.
